MALAGA TIE & DYE Dress Black/Beige Natural Ramie

Long black and beige tie-dye dress (ankle-length) with an open back and square cut-out in 100% natural fabric. Can be worn in two ways: ties can be knotted at the neck or crossed. Adjustable V-neckline. Elasticated waist. Side slits. Fabric: 100% ramie. The model is 1.72 m tall and wears a one-size garment. This one-size model fits sizes 36 to 42.

All our items are imagined and designed in our workshops in Bali. Please note that we pay particular attention to the choice of fabric, which is dyed and washed before our designs are created.

Ramie:

Ramie is a natural fabric. It has cellulose fibers obtained through a complex extraction process, making it an expensive, high-end fabric. Its fibers are obtained from Boehmeria nivea and Utilis plants: white ramie is obtained from the former, while green ramie is obtained from the latter. Ramie plant fiber is completely natural, just like linen or bamboo. Its fibers are used to make lightweight and durable clothing.

Ramie fabric is highly breathable, provides quick heat transfer, and has a high moisture-absorption capacity, so wearing ramie fabrics in summer ensures a cool sensation.

Care:

Hand washing is the best and safest method for caring for ramie. Use cold water and your usual detergent. Immerse the item and gently agitate the water with your hands to distribute the soap evenly. Soak for up to 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly by letting cold water run through the item until the water is no longer soapy. Do not wring/spin the fabric. Instead, gently press it to remove excess water. Dry flat in the shade. We recommend steaming or ironing at a very low temperature.
